Invoicing & Getting Paid

LawRep invoices are tied to a client (and optionally a case) and can be paid through Stripe.

Create and send

Invoices → New Invoice. Add line items (description, quantity, unit price), pick a due date, and either save as Draft or click Send. When you Send, the client gets an email with a secure payment link.

Track status

Filters across the top of the Invoices list:

  • Draft — not sent yet, only visible to your firm.
  • Sent — emailed to the client, awaiting payment.
  • Paid — payment confirmed by Stripe.
  • Overdue — past the due date with no payment.

Stripe setup

Stripe must be configured by an admin under Admin → Configuration → Stripe. Once live, payments land in the firm's connected Stripe account and a webhook updates the invoice status automatically.

Reminders

Overdue invoices trigger a reminder email to the client. You can also send a manual reminder from the invoice detail page at any time.
